I Found a New Laundry Hack

I have this olive green sweatshirt from Old Navy that I spill something on every single time I wear it. I have no idea why, but it happens every time. Does everyone have one of those shirts? Stains also show a ton on this shirt, I think it is because of the color.

I was wearing the shirt earlier this week and, without fail, dropped a noodle on myself and it left a grease stain. I didn’t notice said stain until I was checking the mirror before running out the door. I moved my hair off my shoulder and there it was.

I had no time to change clothes, so I looked around the bathroom for something that removed stains. I saw the dry shampoo sitting there and thought “that might work, it absorbs oil”.

You guys, it worked! I sprayed a little on the stain, rubbed the white excess away with a wash cloth and the stain disappeared! Why did I not think of this earlier?

We were on vacation earlier this month and I dropped spinach artichoke dip down the front of the same shirt. I went back to the hotel and used dawn dish soap and water to try and get the stain out. It worked, but not as well or as quickly as the dry shampoo.

I need everyone to tell their friends about this laundry hack. Try it on your next grease stain and thank me later 🙂
