How I Simplify My Life with Auto Delivery

Did you know that the average adult makes approximately 35,000 decisions each day? Assuming you sleep 7 hours each day, that means we make around 2,000 decisions per hour. Decision fatigue is a real thing. This is why you should make important decisions in the morning and grocery shop in the morning.

I limit the number of decisions I need to make by automating as much of my life as possible. I have subscribed to a few different subscriptions over the years, that take some of those decisions and thoughts off my plate.

These are some subscriptions I recommend.

Home Chef

I have been using Home Chef for over two years, and I can’t imagine life without it. Every Tuesday I have 3-4 meals delivered to me. I do have to choose the meals I want, but Aaron and I do it together each week, and I don’t have to think about it again. All the ingredients show up perfectly portioned and ready to cook. It makes dinner so much easier for us.

Bubly Water

This is a fairly new subscription to me. When I started my weight loss journey this year, I gave up pop (for the most part). I learned very quickly that I needed something other than regular water to drink with dinner, but I hate most flavored or sparkling waters. I tried a bunch of them before I discovered Bubly. You can get cases of Bubly water at most groceries stores, but I have only seen the variety pack on Amazon. I like the variety pack, so I use Amazon’s subscribe and save feature to have a case sent to me every 3 weeks.

Cat Food

My cats eat the same wet and dry food all the time. I don’t want to make a special trip each month to get more food, so I have it delivered through Chewy.com. I have two auto-ship options saved on my account, one with a bag of dry food and a case of wet food, and one with two cases of wet food. They alternate each month since we go through wet food faster. It automatically ships, and I don’t have to think about it.

Shaving Supplies

I know this one may seem unnecessary, but it has been so helpful. I purchased the Billie razor in July and I know this sounds dramatic, but it has changed my life. I will do a full review of why this razor is so amazing, but one of the features I love is the auto-delivery feature. Every month 4 blades ship to me and I never have to think about it. When you sign up for the program you tell them how often you shave and that determines how often blades are sent to you. I shave every day, so I get 4 new blades every month. I change them on Sundays and never have to worry about a dull razor again.
