Did February fly by for anyone else? It seemed to me like January was the longest month ever, then I blinked and February is over.
February was a typical month for us, we had busy weeks and some very chill weeks and weekends. Here are the highlights.
My love for Static Nails deepened in early February. I had to take this set off after 16 days because they were grown out and I was ready for a new color. I have never had anything stay on my nails that long. I wrote a post on how I apply them here.
All of San Francisco celebrated the 49ers in the Super Bowl. The whole city was lit up in red and gold. Our team didn’t win, but it was fun to watch them play.
I found my favorite shirt ever made at Target. Anyone that really knows me knows my Taco Bell obsession runs very deep.
Aaron and I were both a little under the weather early in the month. Bishop and Jade used their super cat powers to help get us back to 100% as quickly as possible.
I had a one-day trip to LA for work that required actual dress clothes. I dug these pants out of the back of my closet. They are from Express. Anyone else love the dress pants from Express?
We celebrated the lunar new year with an evening parade Downtown San Francisco. The parades here are very long. All of them. We watched for a couple of hours, then left to get ice cream for dinner.
We met up with some friends for a Sunday brunch that ended at a dive bar drinking all the mimosas.
Our office is moving in April, so they are starting to clear out all the furniture. We have been moved around a little which means I get to sit by new people for the next month. It has been a fun, but interesting process so far. We are excited to see the new space!
I made these Red Velvet Pancakes on Valentine’s Day weekend. They were so good I want them every weekend. Just thinking about that cream cheese glaze makes me hungry.
I made a goal in January to read one book a month this year, and so far I’m doing well. I have been very into thrillers lately, and this book was amazing.
We had Presidents Day off work, so we used it to explore. We drove about an hour north to a town called Healdsburg and ate lunch, walked around downtown, and found some wineries to do some tastings.
I switched out my nails again to a similar style, but lighter color. You can use this code to get $5 off your own set.
National Chili Day is in February, so I dug out the crockpot for some turkey chili.
I got my first Trunk Club in years. Unfortunately, I only kept the sunglasses and the earrings, but it was fun to try everything on and get some ideas for new items. Part of the reason I returned everything is I don’t really know what size I am after my weight loss. This was helpful because I could try things on in my own home.
I don’t mean to be dramatic, but I purchased the best popcorn seasoning ever made. It isn’t even made for popcorn, but that is what we used it for and it was amazing. Run to your local Trader Joe’s and grab some of this.
I had my second Chatbooks order delivered. I ordered the one on the right in January right after we got home from Christmas break. That one is full of photos from Aaron’s surprise 40th birthday party. I loved it so much I ordered one full of photos from 2019, the year we moved to San Francisco. I have already looked through it so many times, I love having printed photos that are easily accessible. I have a $10 code for you to order your own Chatbooks. They would make a great Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift too!

Howdy! This post could not be written any better! Reading through this post reminds me of my previous room mate! He always kept chatting about this. I will forward this post to him. Fairly certain he will have a good read. Thank you for sharing!
