My Favorite Summer Shoes

You know what I miss most about going out in public? Shoes. I have so many shoes, and I am excited to wear them again and actually style an outfit. I have two pair that I have worn the last three months, and while I love both of them, I’m ready for some variety and a reason to put shoes on.

I’ve rounded up my favorite shoes for summer, including the two pair I’ve been wearing during quarantine.

Running Shoes

These are the shoes I run in and wear for hikes. I’ve had them for over a year and they are still comfortable. When we moved here I quickly realized I didn’t own enough comfortable shoes for the amount of walking we would be doing. I bought these at Marshall’s the first week we lived here because they were light weight, slip on, and cheap. A year and a half later, I’m still wearing them all the time.

Sandals

I picked these up at Target this spring, and they have quickly become my go-to slip-on shoes. I wear them to grab packages, take out the trash, run a quick errand, etc. They are very comfortable, and I like that they are easy to clean. This exact style and color are sold out, so I’m linking an all-white version here.

I am a big fan of all Steve Madden shoes. I have had a few different sneakers over the years, but these ones are my current favorite. These exact ones were limited edition, but this pair and this pair are very similar. These shoes are easy to clean, match almost every outfit, and are cute enough to wear with skirts, dress pants, or jeans.

I have had these heels for a couple of years. They are a great option for days I need to dress up a little but still may have to walk a mile or two. This similar pair from Target is the same brand, so I imagine just as comfortable. This pair is similar from DSW and comes in multiple color options.

Mules

To be honest, I have only worn these mules one time. They were delivered during quarantine, and I’ve only worn them for one quick errand. The Universal Thread shoe line from Target has never let me down though, so I’m including them. Mules are perfect for someone who can’t wear heels because you walk too much, gets tired of ballet flats, but wants something office appropriate. They are comfortable and easy to wear.

Baby Cheetah Toms

I don’t know that I have ever gotten as many complements on shoes as I do when I wear these. They were limited edition last summer, and I had to have them. They are back this summer, and I might buy a second pair because I wear the crap out of them. These shoes have been through event days, work meeting, running through an airport, and so much more. I have washed them several times, and they are still holding on.

When you find something you like, buy it in every color, right? Aaron gave me these Toms for Christmas last year because he knew how much I loved my other ones. I haven’t worn these as much, but I plan to this summer. I didn’t see this exact print on the Toms website, but this rose gold pineapple print is similar and so cute.

Now the real question is, what shoes will I wear for my first day back to the office this week?
