The Jewelry I Wear Every day

I have never worn a lot of jewelry. I used to wear a watch every day, but then I got the FitBit Versa, and I use that for my watch. I have a lot of jewelry, some costume, and some high end, I just forget to put it on in the morning.

I do have a few pieces I wear every single day though, some have real meaning and others came from Amazon. I will break it down for you and tell you where to get your hands on some great and inexpensive pieces.

I will start with earrings because even when I don’t leave the house I have earrings in my ears. I feel naked without earrings. Because I was on the radio for so many years and had to wear headphones every day, I wear mostly stud earrings. I do have a few pair that dangle and a pair of hoops I love, but out of habit I gravitate towards studs most days. This pair I got from Aaron when he sold high-end jewelry many years ago. They are Tacori promotional earrings, and they aren’t real. He got them from the jewelry store he worked for, and I love them. They are larger than most studs so they add some drama, but they are still a simple stud.

Maybe earrings weren’t the best place to start, because these aren’t earrings you would buy either. Aaron went to a conference in Vegas for Hearts on Fire a long time ago and came home with these. They still sell them in store, but I can’t imagine he paid full retail. If you have never seen a Hearts on Fire piece of jewelry, you should seek them out. These diamonds shine like nothing I have ever seen before. That photo doesn’t do these earrings justice at all.

Moving on to some pieces from Amazon, I wear this necklace all the time. I found it on Amazon while shopping for my Mom’s gift for Mother’s Day. It is simple, but I get complements on it all the time. You can get this necklace in silver or gold, and in any letter of the alphabet. You can get one here for $29.99.

The rings I wear every day are a mix of Amazon pieces and family heirlooms. The center thick band was my grandmother’s wedding band. My grandfather gave me her wedding band and engagement ring last year, and I have worn this band every day since.

This is her full wedding set. I don’t wear the engagement ring often, but I wear the band every day. I did have to have them sized up quite a bit, but I took them to a local jeweler in Michigan and had it done.

The two smaller bands I wear with Grandma’s band are part of this set from Amazon. I ordered them in early February to stack with the band and make it look less like a wedding band. They have held up well for the price. I wear the top two every day, and the twisted one has faded a little over time, but still shines in the sunlight. They haven’t turned my finger green or changed colors over time.

These pieces are easy to add on to and dress up. I can layer some other necklaces, or add the other rings to my left hand. If you are looking for some inexpensive pieces to add to your jewelry collection I would recommend these.
