I buy a lot of things on Amazon. Like a LOT of things. Everything from everyday items, to gifts and specialty items I don’t want to spend time hunting for in-store.
Since moving to San Francisco my Amazon purchases have only increased. I know order kitty litter on Amazon, water on Amazon, and anything else I don’t want to carry home from the store.
I was looking through my 2019 purchases to find a link for someone, and I found six things that I can’t imagine living without. Here are my top six Amazon items from this year (not including gifts).
1.Chiffon Hair Scrunchies – $8.99 for six
These hair ties are a pretty recent purchase for me, but I have worn them a ton. I originally bought them for giveaways with makeup orders, but once I took them out of the package I ordered a second set for myself.
I get so many compliments every time I use one of these hair ties in a top knot or low bun. They add a cute touch to an otherwise boring hair day.
2. Tinkle Razors – $7.35 for 12
If you aren’t using these you don’t know what you are missing. I use them for stray eyebrow hairs, the baby hair on my face, and even to remove pilling from sweaters. If you haven’t tried them to remove the baby hair from your face, do not be scared. It will not grow back darker. Your skin feels so much better and your makeup will apply so much smoother.
3. Car Phone Mount – $11.99
We have no idea how to get anywhere in San Francisco, so I use the GPS on my phone every time I drive. I was just putting my phone in a cupholder and listening to the directions, but I found I need to see the map. Aaron and I have different phones, so we needed something adjustable, and nothing will clip to my air vents in my car because they are shaped weird. This is the only phone mount I have found that works for us. I also like that it attaches with a suction cup, so I could use it to film a video by attaching it to a mirror.
4. Slip-on Canvas Flats – $19.89
The first thing I purchased after moving here was new shoes. I bought new tennis shoes, new casual shoes, new flats for work. All the new shoes. We walk so much here that none of the shoes I brought were going to cut it. I found these on Amazon and ordered them in two colors. I have a pair of Toms, and these are similar to those, but half the price. The sole on my Toms is thicker, but these work for me walking around town all day, and for $20 I don’t care if they only last one year.
5. Bubly Sparkling Water – $10.99 for 18
I have been trying to give up pop forever, and I never could do it. I can drink water all day long, but when it came to dinner I wanted a glass of milk or a coke, both of which are high in unnecessary calories. I have tried many different forms of sparkling water, and they never had enough flavor to satisfy my craving until I tried Bubly water. I bought Mango at the grocery store and actually liked it. I found the 18 assorted pack on Amazon and I immediately set it up as a subscription. I get a case delivered to me every three weeks. I still have the occasional pop, but they are very few and far between now.
6. Blue Light Blocking Glasses – $23.99
These blue light blocking glasses are probably my favorite purchase so far this year. I bought three pair, one for work, one for home, and one for Aaron, but these are my favorite. If you work on a computer or your phone all day you need blue light blocking glasses. They save my eyes, and I get substantially fewer headaches. I’m not as good at wearing them at home as I should be, but I wear them all day at work and my eyes don’t even feel tired at the end of the day. Plus these ones are super cute. A lot of people have asked me if they are Warby Parker, so they must have a similar style.
I’m sure I will continue to find new Amazon favorites to share with you, but I want to know what are your favorite purchases from Amazon?
