Thankful Thursday 11.21.19

Can you believe we only have one more week of November? I feel like September and October went on forever, then I blinked and November was almost over.

Here are the things I was thankful for this week:

Friday 11.15.19 – Today was crazy busy. I feel like from the moment I walked into work I was on turbo speed until I left. I am actually thankful for the occasional day like that. They remind you to appreciate the rest of the days.

Saturday 11.16.19 – Today we hosted the company suite for the San Jose Sharks Game. I am not a person that jumps at the chance to meet new people and make small talk for hours. I have to prepare myself mentally for social events with new people, but 9 times out of 10 I am thankful I went. We had so much fun at the Sharks game, and everyone in the suite was so nice and happy to be there.

Sunday 11.17.19 – Aaron and I did nothing today. Literally did not leave the couch. Those are some of my favorite days, and I’m so thankful we can sit together on the couch all day and binge tv without getting bored or feeling the need to talk about something the whole time.

Monday 11.18.19 – I’m so thankful for the weather in San Francisco. I keep seeing photos of snow and cold from my friends and family, and it was almost 70 today.

Tuesday 11.19.19 – I have a job that requires me to be at my desk most of the time. I am so thankful for out of office appointments. I love getting out and seeing new areas, meeting new clients, and getting feedback on the presentations I work on.

Wednesday 11.20.19 – I am so thankful for my Krueg today. I usually pick up coffee at the Starbucks in our office lobby on the way to work, but there is a conference across the street and the city is extra full of people. I have been making coffee at home this week to avoid the Starbucks mess, and it has been so nice.

Thursday 11.21.19 – I am thankful for my planner. I have the Simplified Planner by Emily Ley. It is more of an investment planner, but I use it every single day. I make a to-do list for non-work things, map out blog posts, social posts, everything. I know a lot of people use their phone, I prefer to write it down and check it off. There is nothing more rewarding than a checked-off to-do list.

What are you thankful for this week?
