My Work From Home Style

I have been working from home for almost two full months now, and I’m still getting dressed most days. I thought I would spend my work from home time in comfy clothes cuddled up on the couch, but that isn’t realistic. I need to “get ready” for work each day to separate the weekdays from the weekends. I’m not wearing business attire by any means, but I am wearing pants with buttons most days.

Jeans | Sweater (similar)

My typical style these days consists of jeans, and a t-shirt, sweatshirt or sweater. These jeans were on sale recently from Abercrombie, so I gave them a shot. I haven’t purchased jeans from Abercrombie in years, but I really love these. They are high waisted and super stretchy.

This sweater is older from Old Navy, but I found one that is almost identical here.

Jeans | Sweatshirt

This pair of jeans from Madewell is my favorite pair of jeans, hands down. They were a little more than I usually pay for jeans, but I wear them all the time. They are a 10″ high-rise waist, so if you aren’t into the high-waisted jeans trend, these may not be for you.

I think I have talked about my obsession with the Lou & Grey line from loft in every post this month. This sweatshirt is from that line. I don’t know what material this line is made from, but it feels like a dream. I have the joggers in two colors, the sweatshirt in two colors, and a pair of shorts.

Top | Joggers

I took it back to my high school days recently with this top from Abercrombie, and these joggers from American Eagle. It took me a while to start shopping at American Eagle again, but I am so glad I did. I have loved everything I have purchased from AE recently.

Side note: they also have these joggers in a chambray color that I have my eye on. Those might be my next American Eagle purchase.

Leggings | Jacket (similar)

We have been running a few mornings a week, and I wear a variation of this outfit every time. I have three pair of these cropped leggings, they are my favorite inexpensive workout pant. I just ordered three more pair in a smaller size (yay weight loss). The jacket is super old, so old that the tag has been washed off. This one from Old Navy is similar though.

Shorts | Tank | Sweater (similar) | Sandals

We have had a couple of days that were warm enough to wear shorts. We don’t have air conditioning in our apartment, so we have learned to dress for the weather. I hate shorts. I really hate them. These are the only shorts I grab when the weather is warm. They feel like pajamas, and they don’t ride up or feel uncomfortable. I am happy Old Navy brought them back this year so I can buy another pair.

The tank top is one of the $8 tank tops from Target. I got a medium and it fits perfectly. It’s fitted without being uncomfortable.

This sweater is old from Abercrombie, this was the first thing I bought when I re-discovered Abercrombie a year or two ago. This cardigan is similar to mine, but this year’s version.

These sandals are on sale at Target right now, and the only shoes I’ve worn in months. I wear running shoes in the morning, and these to grab the mail or to run to the grocery store. They are washable and comfortable which makes them the perfect summer sandal.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
