Christmas Decor Round Up

When we were packing to move to San Francisco in January I remember saying to Aaron and my Mom “I don’t need holiday decor. I have nowhere to store it and we will come home for Christmas anyway.” Well, here we are in November and I have exactly two Christmas decorations in our apartment.

I have never been a person that decorates for Christmas before Thanksgiving, but I feel a very strong urge to decorate early this year. It could be because it is still in the 60s here and I believe decorating will help put me in the Chrismas spirit, or maybe because I’m excited to go home and decorating will make it seem closer. I’m not sure why I want to decorate so badly, but I do. I have rounded up a few inexpensive decor items that I have my eye on this year.

I am keeping everything I buy on the inexpensive side because I really don’t have storage for anything seasonal, so things like a tree may need to be donated at the end of the season and I don’t want to spend a lot of money each year for a new tree.

First, my Walmart round up. Walmart seems to really be stepping up their game recently with decor, clothing, and home goods. We don’t have one near us so I will buy everything online and have it shipped to me.

Garland | Small Trees | Wooden Sign
Pre-Lit Tree | Throw Pillow | Silver Pencil Tree

I’m loving the flocked tree look this year, but don’t want to pay for a flocked tree so the flocked garland from Walmart will add that touch I’m looking for.

Speaking of trees, I can’t decide between the pre-lit tree and the silver pencil tree. I have never had a colored tree, but I have always thought they looked fun. My only reservation is our apartment is all white, like all white, so I could use the pop of color with the gree tree.

I’m buying that sweater throw pillow in multiple colors. Our couch is white, so I can change the look of our living room area with simple decor items like pillows. I love how classy and cozy these pillows look, especially for the price.

I don’t have a ton of items from Amazon, but I have found a few that I have added to my wish list.

Mini Trees | Burlap Banner | Throw Pillows
Blanket | Coffee Mug

I am obsessed with these pillow covers. The best part is they store easily because they are just covers. I can slip them over my current throw pillows.

The mini trees are great for adding decor to small spaces. You can group them together and add them around the apartment or house.

I always love themed coffee cups and throw blankets, and to be honest you can never have too many of either one. Decorative coffee mugs are the easiest way to add a touch of holiday spirit to my kitchen without the decor getting in my way.

The last place I have been looking at is TJ Maxx. I have a confession to make when it comes to TJ Maxx. I did not know you could shop TJ Maxx online until a few months ago. For real. I don’t know how I didn’t know, I just didn’t. Since I now know, it has changed my life.

I love this little truck for every holiday. I don’t know why I love it so much, I just think it is the cutest.

Surprise, another throw pillow. Can you tell I live in a small space and don’t have a lot of space for decor? This one is super cute though.

These boxes would be cute staged under the tree. We won’t have actual presents under our tree because we are taking them to Flint with us, so these will be cute staged under there.

This wooden sign would be adorable in my bathroom. My shower curtain is white and gold, so this would be cute sitting on the back of the toilet.

What decor do you have your eye on this year?
